10+ Cozy Fall Wearable Sewing Projects

Every year when fall rolls around I get the desire to start to dress the part. Of course, those first weeks are unpredictable and some days your sweating in your warm jacket and others you wish you had layered more.

Fun wearable fall sewing projects for beginners.

Often I find the layers I need the most are those for my head, hands and face. Which makes this post right up my DIY alley. We've got hats, slippers and scaves. But we got other fun fall wearables as well.

Fall is a great time to sew. It's still warm enough to enjoy time outside, but getting back into the swing of the school year helps you organize time in the calendar to get some projects put together.

Hopefully these wearable fall sewing projects will inspire you.

What is a PDF pattern download?

PDF patterns are sewing patterns that you can download and print right from home.  You print the pages and assemble the pieces from home.  No going to the store.

How does downloading a PDF sewing pattern work?

Depends on where you are getting your pattern from.  Patterns that are from Google Drive and Etsy can be downloaded right to your computer by clicking the download button.

Once you've downloaded, search for the name of the pattern on your computer.  When you find the pattern open it and you can start printing.
