During the summer and fall our community is flooded with farmers markets, fairs and road side farm stands. It is so fun to stop and see what is available and try something new in the kitchen.
But sometimes the arms get a little bogged down or we just don't have enough people to carry our treasures. That is when this quick and easy market tote bag pattern comes in handy.

This market tote bag is super lightweight and very quick to make. But it is also small enough that you can roll it up and store in your glove compartment, the bag of your car or even as an additional bag in your purse or tote.
It is big enough to hold books and notebooks, treats and treasures and even that fresh loaf of sourdough bread.
That makes this tote not only a great sewing project but the perfect summer sew. It is very useful and can be stored so easily you'll never have to worry about not having a bag to carry all your simple farmers market purchases.
