Free Doll Clothes Patterns - For All Types of Dolls

My little ones LOVE to play dress-up.  But even more than that.  They love to dress up their dolls and Barbies.

I'm not just taking about my daughter either.  My sons enjoy playing with baby dolls just as much as my daughter.

In fact, my older likes me to make clothes for his stuffed Super Mario dolls.
Great list of sewing patterns for the best free doll clothes patterns for dolls of all shapes and sizes.

It can be tricky to find the right outfit for each of our baby dolls (or stuffed animals).  Simple doll clothes patterns are sometimes in short supply.

Especially free doll clothing patterns.  They can often turn out looking silly or not fit the doll at all.

That's why I love this list of doll clothing patterns.  Not only are they all free, but they are such fun and adorable looks, you can't go wrong.

Are doll clothes hard to sew?

Learning to sew doll clothing is a lot like learning to sew for full size people.  It just takes some practice and patience.  Don't get down on yourself if something doesn't come out right the first time.  Remember all our mistakes help us do better the next time.

Just make sure to follow the instructions that are provided and use the correct fabrics for each project.  Sewing gets really frustrating if you pick the wrong type of fabric to make a project.

    Free Doll Clothes Patterns

With doll clothes, it isn't one size fits all.  With dolls ranging from infant Cabbage Patch dolls to American Girl Dolls to Baby Alive and even Barbie, it can be hard to find what you want.

You'll love this simple list.  I've included photos and direct links to the patterns and tutorials.

And remember, some of the patterns will ask you to sign up for a newsletter to receive.  That is simply a reminder that sewing bloggers and designers spend time, money and effort creating lots of free products for readers like you.

Signing up for a free pattern shows that you are grateful for their hard work and service.  You get a free pattern and they have a chance to share with you more of their products, content and experience.  It is a win win for everyone.

      1. Some patterns cost money. Many free ones want you to receive a newsletter. I get too many notices now. Oh, well such is life.
