This year, make it easy on yourself. Your table can be simple and still look amazing. That is why I am loving our bread basket liner pattern.
Not only is it quick and easy. But it adds a little something to the table without all the fuss. Plus, it will keep those rolls or bread slices warmer for longer.
AND if you make it with 100% cotton fabric and threads, you can use it to warm that bread up in the microwave if it does get to cold.
You are going to love how easy this pattern is and that you can use it year after year to keep that bread wrapped and those baskets looking new.

Bread Basket Liner Sewing Tutorial
Materials Needed
Step 1
Place the two 20" x 20" pieces of fabric and put them with right sides together.
Step 2
Fold the two pieces in half long ways and then in half again. You should have a square with two raw edges and two folded edges.
Step 3
Place the pattern piece on the corner where the two folded edges meet. Pin in place.
Step 4
Cut out the pattern in the two fabric layers. Leaving the folded corners uncut.
Step 5
Open the liner pieces up and make sure they lay flat together. Mark a 3-4" opening on one edge of the liner. Pin layers together.
Step 6
Stitch at 1/4" around the two layers of fabric, leaving your marked opening unsewn. Press.
Step 7
Trim all the corners and clip around the rounded edges.
Step 8
Turn the liner right side out and press.
Step 9
Topstitch around the outside of the liner and press.
Now you are ready to add the liner to your favorite household basket and make that holiday table look amazing. Bonus, the liner will help insulate those rolls and keep them warmer for longer.
