Festive Fall Faux Leather Earrings with Cricut Cut File

Falling leaves, throwing footballs and picking the biggest pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

All these make fall a unique and special time of year.  And my most favorite time of year.

I look forward to fall all year long and not just for the weather.

Since learning how to make my own earrings I've been excited to create a set of fall faux leather earrings Cricut cut file.

Materials Needed

First, you'll grab these fun leaf shaped earrings.  You can layer them with two different colored or textured faux leathers.  My favorite part is they are super lightweight but still dangle.

You'll also get the best part of fall with these leaf cut out earrings.  Add a pop of color with the bottom layer of faux leather.

  1. I am in love with the pumpkin earrings. Where do you find the patterned leather? I went to the Etsy shop and am on page 18 and have not found it. Also is the faux leather fabric the same thing to make the earrings?

    1. I made these earrings last fall and the leather pattern may not be available this year. Most faux leather shops are constantly putting out new products. Etsy is a great place to start. Just search fall faux leather and you should get a lot of different ideas. Hope that helps.

  2. I opened Design Space with a few different earrings and they showed up all different sizes from one inch to seven inches. What size do you make yours at?

    1. Typically I like to make mine 1.5-2" in size. You might have to experiment by cutting with paper first and see what you like.

  3. Hi,
I'm making some of your lovely fall earrings. I'm using the gum tragacanth on the edges, as you suggest, but it doesn't appear to be doing anything as far as preventing the fuzzing. What else do I do after applying the gum? Do I need to use a leather beveler? Thanks!

    1. I cut mine out on my Cricut and don't have a big issue with fuzzing. So I don't have a better suggestion for you. If doing it by hand, just make sure you have a nice sharp knife. And you'll want a beveler if you don't have a cutting machine, otherwise the holes are difficult to make.
