Picking a new Christmas sewing project each year is one of my favorite things to do. Not just to create handmade gifts, but really create home decor that is for the holiday.
I've found over the years I love the look of fabric bunting. For my mantel, our entertainment center, in the kids rooms. Wherever I can hang bunting, I will.
This little holiday bunting project was quick and goes perfectly with my downstairs holiday decor which is buffalo plaid inspired.
Heck, who doesn't love the warmth that comes from flannels and plaids?
The fabric comes from the Annie's Holiday Quilters Club. I had a bit leftover from one of my other projects.
Let me show you how to make fabric Christmas bunting easily and add your own fun holiday cut files too.

Want to make your own bias tape? Check out this tutorial on how to make your own bias tape.
Now you can hang those fabric bunting flags on your mantel,
over a door or on a wall.
