Let me share the tutorial for how I put this little project together.

Easy Bifold Wallet Pattern and Tutorial
Materials Needed
- (2) 8" x 4.25" Cotton Fabric -main wallet
- (2) 8" x 4.25" Cotton Fabric -inside pocket
- (5) 3" x 4.25" Cotton Fabric -small pockets
- Fusible Interfacing
- Thread
Step 1
Cut 2 - 8" x 4.25" pieces of cotton for the main wallet. Press interfacing to the pieces.
Cut 2 - 8" x 4.25" pieces of cotton for the inside cash pocket.
Cut 5-6 - 3" x 4" pieces of cotton for the small pocket pieces and press interfacing to the back of each piece.
Step 2
Turn the tops of small pocket pieces 1/4" and another 1/4" and press. Stitch a straight stitch across each pocket hem.
Step 3
Take the main inside piece and press it in half. Line each of the pocket pieces up on the main piece.
Stitch the bottom of each pocket to the wallet piece.
Step 4
With right sides together, place one main wallet piece and one inside pocket piece together. Stitch a straight line on down the long side of the wallet. Press open.
Repeat this step with the main piece and pocket piece.
Step 5
With right sides together, place the sewn wallet pieces together, making sure to match the inside pockets together and the main wallet pieces together.
Mark a 2" opening in the middle of the pocket piece. Stitch the two layers together using a 1/4" seam allowance.
Step 6
Turn wallet right side out through the opening. Press well.
Step 7
Stitch the opening closed on the inside pocket.
Step 8
Tuck the inside pocket into the wallet and press again. Topstitch around the wallet pocket.

Great idea! I could use a wallet. I'm going to try to use one of the card holder with Velcro closure for coins -?
