This design was inspired by the 4th of July here in the United States.
My husband's family has a huge celebration in their town that we attend every year complete with parade, booths and vendors, carnival, picnic and finally the best fireworks ever. So natural, my children need to be dressed up and patriotic, thus was born the Firecracker Dress and Tunic.
This is the perfect outfit for hot weather. The design includes double straps that pull over the shoulders and tie in a bow at the back. The skirt is gathered for some fun fullness. The pattern also includes a guide on several unique ways you can tie the ties.
Not hot where you are? Simply add a top underneath (like our Tinley Tee) for more coverage during cooler weather and pair the tunic with your favorite leggings instead of shorts.
This is a Great beginner PDF Pattern. Includes step-by-step instructions, full color photos, and full size pattern pieces. Comes with pattern pieces for sizes 3 month, 6 month, 12-24 month, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12.
