Fall Pillow Cover Sewing Pattern
Materials Needed
- (1) 17.5" x 17.5" cotton fabric - pillow front
- (2) 11.5" x 17.5" cotton fabric - pillow back
- Red, yellow, orange and brown felt
- Fusible interfacing
- Heat n Bond
- Matching thread
Step 1
Print pattern and cut out leaf pieces in felt. Cut 3" strips of Heat n Bond.
Step 2Press a strip of Heat n' Bond to the wrong side of the felt leaf pieces.
Step 3Remove paper from each piece.
Step 4Press leaves into a circular pattern around the center of the front fabric piece. Create a circle that is a 10" circle.
Step 5
Stitch two circles through the center of the leaves. Making sure they are attached well to the pillow cover.

Step 12
Using two 13.5" x 17.5" pieces, hem one of the long sides of each piece by folding 1/4" and pressing. Folding again another 1/4" and press. Stitch along the hem. Repeating on the opposite piece. Make sure you are folding to the wrong side of the fabric.
Place the leaf wreath front right side up on a flat surface. Place one back piece wrong side up over the pumpkin section. Matching the long edges. Overlap the other back piece by matching it to the opposite pumpkin section. Pin around the outside of the entire square.
Stitch around the outside at 1/2". Making sure to backstitch. Trim your corners. Press.
Turn the pillowcase right side out and press. Place it over your pillow form.
