Over the years, we've collected all kinds of "wizard gear" but the one thing my kids love most are their wands.  The problem?  Wand are fun to play with but can be really awkward to carry around.

That's where the Harry Potter wand holster comes in!

This simple sewing project makes it easy to keep wands safe while kids play at home or even while traveling.  We used this pattern on our last trip to Florida to visit the Universal Studios parks and they worked great.

If you want to add your own strap, measure from the back of the users shoulder to their hip and add a couple inches.  Cut the webbing to this length.

Burn the ends of the webbing and stitch them around a keyring or D ring.  Do this to both sides of the webbing.  Then attach the strap to the carabiners.
