How to Make a Mini Stocking
Materials Needed
Mini Stocking Sewing Pattern - download at the end of the post, look for the peach colored button
Make sure to cut out the stocking as mirror images.
Step 2
Place one of the main stocking pieces right side up on a flat surface.Place the side with right side down and pin. Stitch around the stocking leaving the top open.
Step 3
Clip and notch around the curve of the stocking toe.
Step 4
Turn the stocking right side out. Press.
Step 5
To make the cuff, match the two short sides of the cuff with right sides together. Stitch short sides together.
Step 6
Fold the cuff in half by folding the long edges with wrong sides together.
Step 7
Place the cuff inside the stocking. Make sure the raw edges of the cuff match the raw edges of the stocking. Pin in place.
Stitch the cuff to the stocking.
Step 8
Turn the cuff up out of the stocking. Press the cuff towards the front of the stocking.
Step 9
Cut a 5-6 inch piece of ribbon.
Step 10
Fold the ribbon in half and place on the inside of the stocking along the back seam. Stitch in place.
Press your stocking and you are ready to hang it up!
