Ornament Keepsake Books + Free Printable

"Why do I have this ornament Mom?"  My daughter asked.

"Um....." was my timely response.  I couldn't really remember.  Which wasn't good.

One of our family traditions is to give a new ornament each year.  Seeing as my daughter was 6 and I couldn't keep track of just a few ornaments, I knew I was going to be in trouble when she was 18.

Ever felt that way?
Ornament Keepsake Book

For years I've been wanting to put together an ornament keepsake book.  With a photo and the story of each ornament they've received.

Of course, each year is was put off.  But not this year.

I had my ducks in a row and I was going to make it happen.  I even created a printable so I could easily make each of my children a book.

I figured I wasn't the only one that need a little push.  So consider this your "push".

Create your own ornament keepsake book to showcase all those special ornaments and where they came from.

 Step 2
Use paper cutter to slice each card.  Make sure not to cut off the border.

Each card is 4x6 inches and will fit nicely in a small photo album.

 Step 3
Take and print photos of each of your child's ornaments.  For each photo, write a card explaining why this ornament is special and who gave it to them.

This can be a really fun way of explaining ornaments and how they are special.

Step 4
Place the photo and card opposite of each other in the photo album.

See how easy that was.  What a fun project to do one evening during the holiday season.  Or these would make a great gift for older children as well.
