Are you part of the Momma Bear crowd? You are always looking after all the little ones around you?
Whether they are your own or not. I hear you for sure. It is important that we have Momma Bears in our life. Whether they are our own Mom or not.
I'm grateful for all the Momma Bears in my own children's lives. When they say it takes a village to raise a child, I wholeheartedly agree with that.

Since those Momma bears are so important, wouldn't it be nice to thank them for all they do for our little ones? Why not make them a fun little gift like this drawstring bag or maybe a cute t-shirt to say thank you.
I am sure they would appreciate the gesture as much as you appreciate the love they have for your children.
To make this fun drawstring bag, I am going to show you how to use iron on vinyl.
If you aren't familiar with an iron-on vinyl, I'm going to walk you through the process of finding, cutting out and pressing your design onto your drawstring bag. The process is super simple!! We'll go through the steps really quickly and you can see how fast and easy it really is.
Materials NeededHow to Use Iron-On Vinyl
- Momma Bear, Papa Bear, Baby Bear Cut files
- Everyday Iron-On
- Cricut EasyPress 2 or your household iron
- Drawstring bag - you can check out or free tutorial to make your own
Open design space and find your bear design you plan to cut out. Make it whatever size you need for the size drawstring bag or tshirt you are using. Just drag the image to make it larger or smaller.
Click the "Make It" button and when it shows you the mats for cutting, make sure to change it to "mirror" so that it will cut out correctly on your Iron-on.
Step 3
Select your Cricut Maker and make sure to select Iron-On Vinyl so it will cut correctly. Than cut it out.
Weed your design. Weeding means taking out all the extra vinyl that won't be added to your bag.
Step 5
Use the Cricut EasyPress 2 to press your design to your bag. Your temperature will vary based on the type of material you are pressing your design to. Check out this post for understanding the Cricut EasyPress temperature guide.
There you have it. A fun and quick little drawstring bag for that Momma Bear in your life. Plus, now you know how to use iron-on vinyl and just how easy a process it is.
