Have you ever visited Sewing Mama RaeAnna's blog?  She is super talented and one of my blogging friends!  She has the most adorable patterns!  I helped test the Bumblebee Dress last fall.  LOVE IT!  I loved it so much I made it into a coat for my baby girl this winter.  Check it out HERE.

Well, I was lucky enough to get my hands on her newest pattern the Cupcake Top.  This is a great pattern because it is for girls and for boys!  You can't beat that!

I decided to make the top for my little girl for February and Valentine's Day.  The top has a ton of ruffles in many different places.  I put the ruffles on the pocket and as cuffs at the wrist.  But I also decided to do a little applique on the pocket.

First, I grabbed my heavy duty wonder under.  It has a paper side and a sticky side.

Iron the sticky side to your fabric and then draw your design.  Cut it out and then iron to your fabric.  This keeps it in place.

Then make sure you stitch down your design.  I made 3 little hearts and stitched them down.

Super cute!!  It just makes it a little more special!  You could do anything really!

See how happy she is in it!  It is super comfy and she can move really well in it.

My favorite part is how long it is.  Sometimes shirts end up short and they can't wear them very long, but not this one!
