Lisa from Stubbornly Crafty is one of the awesome Aspiring Designers in this weeks challenge. She asked me to take a look at her pattern and I was happy to help. It is ADORABLE! Oh. My. Goodness.
She has a great tutorial on how to make your adorable Zippy Critter. You can also make a penguin and she has some add ons like a bow and heart.
Not only will they get a unique gift, but it will help little ones learn to be organized. Which we all know is the point of my existence (sort of).

I mean what kid doesn't want one of these. I want this one!
I may just claim it for myself. It is a zip pouch so you could use it for pencils (like below), but you could carry it in your purse with those essentials that always get lost at the bottom.

It is a great project because I can use fabric I have on hand and scraps! It is fun to make all the different combinations.
Any way you look you at it, it is a great little pattern and you should go grab one NOW!!!
